Within the first hour of STS2 going on sale, many players report 502 errors and "unable to process your request" when trying to buy on Steam. As of 1:57 PM ET, March 5, 2026, purchase failures are still common.
Slay the Spire 2 (STS2) went on sale on Steam today, but within the first hour of availability, a large number of players have been unable to complete their purchase. As of 1:57 PM Eastern Time, Thursday, March 5, 2026, checkout and payment errors are still occurring for many users. One player reported: "I added to cart and tried to purchase but 'unable to process your request' :(" Others describe 502 errors, frozen store pages, and overloaded servers. A Steam discussion thread (showing 1–15 of 49 comments at the time of writing) reflects the same issues. Lylicious noted: "Still not available?? - Payment terminal broken" and "still not able to purchase? - tried for the past 15min, no luck" (last edited 39 minutes ago).
